I've given in to a bit of "blog flair". I hope it doesn't bring me one step closer to this crazy world, but I've decided that if you know me at all, you know that I'm pretty much a musicaholic.
So I added a music player down there at the bottom. It's not on autostart so it won't assault you unless you want it to. Just thought the place could use a little atmosphere.
If I were you, I would go down and listen to that Griffin House song because it's awfully sweet.

you know, i put a player up on mine and set it to auto-start (shuffle) because I like being a DJ...but, then i realized i hate when music auto starts and interferes with my music (which is usually cranked)...so, i put it like yours - but then changed my layout and it didn't fit the right column...so, i threw up my "now listening to" box, but i am a fan of seeing what people like to listen to...good to see yours my lady...
i will confess that it was your post about music on the blog that inspired me. i put it on the bottom so it wouldn't mess up my layout. i look forward to seeing more of what YOU are listening to. Because yes, you definitely had some influence on my young ears back in the day my friend.
If you are interested you can check out my list of MP3's on my computer currently (not all of the music i own, but a good chunk of it)...
JARED'S MP3 LIST
Lissette bought me a turntable that will rip my records to MP3 for fathers day, so i can get down to business and start ripping my 600+ albums...fun fun!
One of my biggest pet peeves is those music players. But b/c it doesn't auto start I'm okay with it. That and you have damn good taste in music. (I'll let Danity Kane slide. just this once.)
Oh! And Mike and I gave a good listen to the R.A. album you gave me oh so long ago. I had given it a quick listen before but it is awesome. Thanks so much! Vinyl is awesome. I think you should get into it. It's an addicting pastime.
jared! my heart skipped an actual beat reading that list! Appleseed Cast? Broken Social Scene??? Iron and Wine...Stars?? Honestly, it's no wonder we are friends.
whit, i see some days gathered around the turn-table in our future. sooo glad you are enjoying the Ryan Adams! (i'm still so horrified about the Danity Kane incident.)
Great stuff certainly.....I highly recommend "Your Rocky Spine" from the Great Lake Swimmers...tell me it's not wonderful
