I am normally a nice person

But I'll admit to feeling just a twinge of "Yes! Justice!" at the news that Paris Hilton will be spending some time in jail for driving with a suspended license. Mostly because her excuses were all along the line of "I'm way too busy and important to be bothered with silly concerns like obeying the law."

Driving to work today I heard that the judge in the case, Michael Sauer, recieved a standing ovation at church yesterday for handing down her sentence.

Maybe we could just put ALL the annoying attention seeking celebs in jail for 45 days and see how easily we forget about them.

expired and suspended are different, but it's not like if you got pulled over with an expired license nothing would happen to you...if you were a non-celeb. Interestingly, my brother totally got out of a speeding ticket the other day because we have USAA insurance (insurance for military people).

You just never know what a cop (or a judge) is going to do.

Oh, please!

After 45 days of listening to all the annoying, attention-seeking teams of annoying, attention-seeking attorneys for all the annoying, attention-seeking celebs, every last one of us would be crying to have them out of jail and back in the headlines.

They're nicer to look at than their attorneys, after all.

(Not that I think PH is nice to look at, but the odds are pretty damn long that her attorney is better looking.)

Update on this...apparently she has one of her friends making a petition to Ahnold to give her a pardon. I almost peed my bed laughing at that one.

And let us not forget how many DUIs she has...

Let's just call it how it is:
Her parents should have done this to her a long time ago. It's been coming for a while.
