Good Girl

One of my very favorite moments of any given week is the one happening RIGHT NOW. It's friday night and I'm slipping into bed, super content in the knowledge that can sleep until any ridiculous hour I choose tomorrow. Then I can get up, go for a run, do some shopping, get a pedicure, go to lunch, goof around and then meet up with my dear friends Mike and Kim who will be in town for the night. I l-o-v-e my lazy Saturdays. And right about now, snuggled in my clean white sheets with some soft Ryan Adams and a good nine or ten hours of shut eye ahead of me I tell myself, you have a pretty charmed life kid.

ok, for perspective, in my life - what you are doing, NEVER HAPPENS! It's already 11:20pm, Dusty's in Detroit, I'm not too close to bedtime yet and Myla has a soccer game at 8am...

i'm coveting your life. :)

Sigh. Rude.
Parents took the kids last night. Husband was up and gone early for work. GRRRRR...body is trained to be up...way before 8. sigh.
A lazy Saturday in Boston? Sounds like a movie (:

ander-i can't imagine my body ever being trained to get up early BUT, there is something awesome about being able to go back to sleep no?

"you have a pretty charmed life kid"... until you have a kid. enjoy it while you can. fortunately, the body adapts and early breakfasts out for mickey mouse pancakes more than compensate for the fatigue.
