Medley

I wanted to write a post about my baby brother's wedding but my dad wrote this which is way better than the "OMG IT WAS SO FUN!! LOL!" post I was writing.

I went to see Kate Nash at The Troubadour last night and she was a delight. This song is a pretty dead on description of how successful my crushes usually are. At least I'm not alone right?

My sister's birthday is coming up and I'm thinking of getting her a gift certificate to some classes here. Pretty sure her future husband will thank me.

It's over a year old and I am still not tired of this song.

My company is making a big announcement tomorrow about that big star I met with all those months ago. My head might explode from excitement.

And lastly, it's about 70 degrees right now in Southern California. Why on earth do people live anywhere else?

Katie, we saw your comment over on our blog. Thanks for leaving a note. Very fun to hear from you after 15 years or so. I gather, from spending just a minute or two on your site here, that you're a big shot at some kind of cool running shoe company? Kristina is jealous, she's a pretty serious runner and that seems like a fun job. And although I noticed a reference to SUU, it also seems like you went to Harvard or some graduate school in Boston, right? Sorry -- I'm just trying to piece together the elements of your impressive life. Anyway, again, fun to hear from you, fun to have a small glimpse into your world. We lived in Los Angeles until Fall of 2006 -- sorry we missed you out there!

What? Ems, did you catch the tagline? Embrace all of who you are!

Okay maybe treat it like you're Nancy Drew conducting an investigation...

Wow, what's really great about the pole dancing school is that for only $15 you can just use their pole, no instructor, just use their pole. Like why would you pay $15 to use their pole with no instructor when you could use a lamp post or stop sign pole or a playground pole? That was really funny.

awwww ... Rod just made my heart happy. Count your blessings, b/c no matter how you look at it, you have one RAD family!

I hesitate to comment on pole dancing, as I truly know nothing about it. However, I think I know enough about lampposts, stop sign posts and playground poles to hazard a guess that I'm not sure that's the place I want my wife practicing her new moves of this type.

I'd spring for the $15 if that's what she wanted.
