Six O'Clock

I had a party for myself when I turned 30. Because you can do that kind of stuff when you get old. My friend Mark brought his poor married guy cousin to the party and said cousin spent most of the evening talking to my mother in the kitchen. They were the only married redheads at the party so it was fitting. My mother discoverd that cousin was a musician and within a few weeks, we had developed something of a family fan club. In the past few months, he and his band The Madison Arm have covered two of my favorite songs and they are both just beautiful. It's rainy in the Springs today and kind of grey, these are fitting songs for the slightly moody state I am in.

The fact that this guy isn't famous kind of confuses me frankly.

So I maybe just sent his cover to Kathleen Edwards' people, for better or for worse. Let's hope it makes it to her ears. Because why not, right?

Oh yes, I so discovered Paul Jacobsen for the Clifford clan. We redheads know quality when we see it.
