All I did this weekend was sleep. I managed to pull myself out of the house to go for a failure of a run, go to a parade with my friend Heather and her family, hit an hour of church and get a tiny bit of grocery shopping done.
Other than that, I caught up on a few shows and watched The Proposal so I could stare at Ryan Reynolds for awhile and I slept. At first I was feeling really guilty about sleeping away my weekend but then I realized, hey self, you've been pulling 12-14 hour work days for about three weeks so it's really possible that what you needed was a whole bunch of rest.
I've been listening to a whole bunch of Christmas music while I slugged around. Here are some of my favorites for your enjoyment!
These guys went to school with my friend Lori and they are really quite fantastic.

sadly your weekend was more productive than mine. but i have also been working 13 hour days with a bad cold. i think our laziness is justified. and i finally saw love, actually which i've been meaning to do for, oh, six years so it wasn't a complete failure
Your weekend was much like my weekend. Except I also got a manicure/pedicure, watched a lot of FNL, got a christmas tree, and went to the ward party. (oh and i had to work tonight..boo) but yay for an otherwise lazy weekend. it is definitely needed sometimes -- and especially if we've been working crazy hours
I see a pattern of sleeping away weekends developing. Troublesome thing for me is that, I did no such back breaking manual labor that would warrant any laziness.
I am a little ashamed.
you sent us some "christmas candy" last year and I absolutely love it. didn't know if I'd said thanks, yet. Thanks.
SNC rocks! They are really getting some traction. Thanks for the shout-out!
you deserve lazy weekends, soak it in!
i just listened to all eight songs, while filing my nails! dusty and i agree on this one; the judy garland & bing crosby song is the best of the eight, wouldn't it have been fun to live then?!? except dusty thinks he would have been discriminated against...
i love christmas too.
