Fall in Line

My sister sent me her annual Fall compilation CD yesterday and as usual, it's really good. There are quite a few standouts but this one in particular has captured my current mood.

Walk

My horoscope last week said "you don't need a change of scenery, just a change in faces." I have been feeling terribly restless lately and I think it's because I am coming up on 24 months of being back in California. I haven't been anywhere much longer than two years since I graduated from college nine years ago. So I'm sort of used to having some new adventure on the horizon around this time. But there isn't really anything I'm dying to change on my job or living space front so I'm just left with this general feeling of, "is this it?"

Is it?

No...it isn't "it" as long as you don't let it be "it"? That's why goals and such are so important to me. Always improving. Always something to work for. Although...sometimes I think just reading books and watching t.v. would be nice, but that feeling never lasts for long.

And, if it is "it"...I think your "it" is pretty sweet!

I have to agree with what "Miss Chloe" said there....I'm putting 2 & 2 together regarding the psychic Miss Chloe I've seen on DR campaigns years ago.....nevermind, that was Miss Cleo, NOT Chloe....I have nothing.

I understand the need for change. When I get the moving bug, I try re-arranging furniture to see if that cures it. I must admit that changing jobs every 3 years (even if I might return someday) feels really good. As for the need to see new faces, what do you have to lose? I don't think a person can ever have too many friends...the senior care center may have a few friendly faces. This too shall pass and you'll feel like your normal, spunky self before long. SheRoos
